2026/2027 Season AGM

Good day One & All.

The AGM was held last week with 5 clubs represented from the 9 participating clubs from last season.

The following resolutions were proposed and passed:

• The accounts for 2024/25 were unanimously agreed and approved.
• The season for 2025/26 should comprise FOUR divisions.
  ALL Divisions will play as 4 person teams.
• Individual games will continue to be 15 PAR, except when agreed by BOTH Captains before play commences, to play to 11 PAR.
• A TWO point bonus will continue to be awarded to winning teams in ALL divisions.
• All participating Clubs to be affiliated to England Squash (since their fees have been drastically reduced)
• Registration fees will be at £50 per Club and £60 in ALL Divisions (£15 per player).

The provisional timetable for the season is attached, please adhere to the dates specified.

When constructing teams it may be helpful to refer to SquashLevels.com for evaluating previously participating players positions in both teams & divisions.

These rule changes are in an attempt to improve & encourage participation in your local league.

They will shortly be incorporated in the Rules as detailed on our website

And with particular attention to Rules 4(c) & (d), individual divisions may be adjusted, where necessary, to equalise the spread of Teams, particularly in Division 1.

Also, in the light of recent events and with the increase in the number of very young participants,

we strongly advise ALL Clubs ensure they have a Safeguarding Policy in place and guidelines for this can be found on the England Squash website.
